Have You Met: Felicia the Geeky Blogger

‘Cause I just love meeting people online and then sharing their fun with the world, I thought wouldn’t it be a kick to feature bloggers, readers and romance addicts every Friday, so everyone can find MORE places to share their love of books. Felicia of The Geeky Blogger’s Book Blog kindly and nicely agreed to go first. So please give Felicia a warm welcome and then make sure to go visit her blog and friend her on all your favorite social media haunts. With further ado, please meet Felicia. Did you have a nickname growing up? This all sprang from a combination of my name and a very bad book bag choice made in the 2nd grade (bright yellow with a giant flea–it was the 70s don’t judge): Flea, FleaBag, FleaPot . I am still called many of these to this day. What is the very first romance novel that...

The Washington Post recommends The Wedding Vow!

The Washington Post has recommended my upcoming release, The Wedding Vow, as one of October’s best new romance novels! My fellow Avon author Sarah Maclean pens a monthly book review column for the newspaper, and in her latest entry she had this to say about the heroine and hero of my new book: This is a classic enemies-to-lovers romance, and the two are deeply reluctant, very entertaining partners. Once Adam and Maddie discover their mutual attraction, it’s only a matter of time before they discover mutual admiration, “unexpected, unfathomable. No warning, no net.” Their fall is as fun as it is satisfying — for heroine, hero and reader alike.  A nice review is always appreciated, but I find it especially gratifying when another novelist, particularly one as terrific as Sarah Maclean, praises my work. Thanks, Sarah!

No Good Duke Goes Unpunished

No Good Duke Goes Unpunished by Sarah MacLean Twelve years ago William Harrow, Marquess of Chapin, heir to the Duke of Lamont, killed a woman.  That is what everyone believes...including him.  How else can he explain waking up in the bed of his father's missing betrothed, covered in blood, and remembering nothing?  These events led him to becoming Temple, an undefeated boxing champion and part owner of The Fallen Angel, the most exclusive gaming hell in London.  Except now it looks like his reputation as the Killer Duke was undeserved, because the supposedly dead woman just showed up at his door with an offer to exchange his reputation for her brother's lost fortune. Mara Lowe never intended for her escape attempt to look like murder.  Unfortunately, by the time she discovered the truth, it was too late to do any good.  Now, twelve years later, she is willing to utterly...

Cover Reveal: Never Judge a Lady By Her Cover by Sarah MacLean

BEHIND-THE-SCENE QUOTES:  “I’ve always loved cross-dressing heroines – the trope is probably my most favorite of all the romance tropes, so when I wrote Chase, I wanted to play with the cross-dressing heroine idea. She doesn’t just dress in trousers – she’s also built a persona to match. She's a pre-Victorian Wizard of Oz, so to speak, thought to be a man, but one who has never been seen in public, and about whom very few people know the truth…namely, that he’s a she.” --Sarah MacLean “Seeing a woman in pants has not been shocking for about a century. But when one remembers the historical context of Regency England it is extraordinary. I hope this cover attracts readers who are looking for something different, because Sarah is blazing her own path in historical romance.“ --Carrie Feron, Executive Editor “It was a fabulous challenge." --Tom Egner, Avon Art Director  NEVER JUDGE...

One Good Earl Deserves a Lover

One Good Earl Deserves a Lover by Sarah MacLean Lady Phillipa Marbury, fourth daughter of the Marquess Needham and Dolby, is brilliant.  Too bad her soon-to-be betrothed, Lord Castleton is not.  Before her marriage, though, Pippa is determined to experience the scandalous side of life that her husband will surely never show her...and she knows just who to ask. Jasper Arlesey used to live the wasteful and roguish life of "the spare".  Finding no need to take anything seriously, he never did.  Until one fateful chain of events gave him a title and stole his integrity.  Now, instead of living in the excess his title would allow, he lives as Cross, the bookkeeper and part owner of The Fallen Angel, the most exclusive gaming hell in London.  When he wakes one morning to find the sister-in-law of one of his partners sitting at his desk reading his ledger, he knows...
