THE AVON AFFAIR IS A 14-DAY AVON BOOKS REVIEW EVENT ORGANIZED AND HOSTED BY CURRENT AND ALUMNI MEMBERS OF THE AVON ADDICTS. It’s the book Julianna Stone fans have been waiting for: the story of Azaiel, the ultimate fallen angel, as he fights the forces of evil in a desperate attempt to save his true love. King of the Damned is one of the biggest, darkest, most powerfully romantic League of Guardians books yet. New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon says that Julianna Stone is “on her way to becoming a paranormal favorite.” We couldn’t agree more. King of the Damned is a perfect read for fans of paranormal romances, and books by Christine Feehan, Nalini Singh, and Pamela Palmer. King of the Damned was my first time reading anything by Juliana Stone and I loved it! I went into this book much like I do a lot of...

The League of Guardians series by Juliana Stone is one of the most amazing paranormal romance series I've ever encountered. So when I got the chance to read and review the upcoming new release, KING OF THE DAMNED, I jumped at it. I was certainly not disappointed. ***eARC provided by publisher via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest and unscripted review. Blurb for KING OF THE DAMNED: For millennia the struggle between light and dark, between the upper and lower realms, has been policed by a secret group of warriors culled from every fabric of existence. They are both otherworld and human, male and female. They are light and dark themselves and known to each other as the League of Guardians. Their pledge, to protect the line between dominions and make sure neither side grows too powerful. If they fall, so shall the earth, the heavens and hell. And there...

Title: Wicked Road to Hell Author: Juliana Stone Publisher: Avon Publication Date: April 24, 2012 (better late than never) Genre: Contemporary Paranormal Romance Series: League of Guardians, Book 1 The Buzz: this one came in one of the Avon Addict packages (those abs on the cover didn't hurt its chances for being pulled out of the TBR pile, either.) I believe the characters are introduced in Stone's Jaguar Warrior series, and some earlier actions are referenced in the book but it stands alone just fine. So, the basic premise that there are a number of Otherworldly types in this world. There are several familiar paranormal categories - shifters, vampires, and sorcerers, like our hero. Seraphim police the world for the forces of good, and demons are evil, obviously. First rule of paranormal series? Never assume the obvious. I don't think I'm...
