Looking for a book

I would appreciate it if you could help as i am kind of obsessed in finding this book :)   I read the blurb of a book about 2009 and never saved it, i have been looking for it without much success. I think the book was set in the Regency and Napoleonic period (late 18th to early 19th century) or in the Victorian period - 19th century Europe. The heroine's parents have got her an arranged marriage and never having met the man she believes him to be old and so wants to give her virginity to a someone of her own choosing. She goes to a ball/Masquerades and meet a handsome stranger who she spends the night. The next day when her betrothed come to meet her its the same man that she had spent the night with.
