Once An Addict, Always An Addict - Avon Addict, That Is!

When Avon Romance first put out the call for applications to become an Avon Addict, I immediately applied. As I watched the pictures of shelves come in to their Facebook wall, I worried that there really were romance addicts out there that were worse than me. I didn't hold out much hope that I would be selected, so imagine my joy when I was. My ride as an Avon Addict has been the best ever.

You may be saying, "Sure, why not? Free books, who wouldn't love that?" Don't get me wrong, being an Avon Addict has kept me in reading material so much so that I have a stack of books from last winter that I haven't read yet. It's meant a lot of reading and reviewing. But it's more than that. It's the comraderie. The being part of something wonderful and exciting. It's connecting with other romance lovers and the awesome Avon authors as well as everyone connected with Avon Romance.

I'm proud to say I'm an Avon Addict and it's a title I'll continue to carry even after my time is finished. I've met such wonderful people. People, I hope to continue to call friends. I've had the opportunity to interact with Avon authors who are so wonderful and inviting. I always knew the romance community of authors was an open and friendly lot but now I know they are the best people ever to call friends. I've been fortunate enough to be a part of something new and exciting. I was even named the first ever Avon Addict of the Week and I'm very proud of that.

I've followed Avon and their romances since Avon first came on the scene so long ago. I'll continue to follow their wonderful authors and community as long as there's a breath left in me to turn a page. My continuing wish is to some day be an Avon author myself and my work carry that oh, so recognizable Avon symbol but that's on me to make come true. Being an Avon Addict has been an experience that I recommend to all of Avon's followers so when the call for new Avon Addicts comes again, hurry and apply - for your wish may come true, too.
