Review:

I want to start this review by telling you I have been a card-carrying fan of New York Times bestselling author Lorraine Heaths from the moment I read JUST WICKD ENOUGH. Heath captivates her readers delighting them with a memorable characters that pull you in to a titillating love story from the word go. Heath’s second, LORD OF TEMPTATION in her extraordinary Lost Lords of Pembrook , released by Avon Romance a few weeks ago is a delicious romp through the high seas with a heartbreaking heroine and the hero destined to love her.

From the moment Lord Tristan Easton appeared on the scene inSHE TEMPTS THE DUKE I was hooked and wanted more of this devilish Lord Captain. Lord Tristan and his brothers have been back on English soul for three years, even to the detriment of the ton. The Lords have not had the easiest transition. For Lord Tristan, he is getting antsy wanting to set sail for the open seas. Until, the exquisite English beauty, Lady Anne Hayworth steps into his world.

In desperation, Lady Anne hires Tristan’s protection needing his help and his ship to find the grave of her first love needing to say good by. What Lady Anne never expected was the instant attraction to the unkempt and sorely in need of a pair a shears taken to his ebony hair that rested on his shoulders. The smoldering gaze that perused her from head to toe did nothing to calm her already scattering nerves.

On a the dangerous sea temptation its high. One intoxicatingkiss is the price the rogue captain demands. The passion and desire will keep her at his side but she knows that once back in England she will have to leave him behind. Tristan is not so eager to be forgotten or left behind. When their paths cross back in England reigniting their passion. He vows to not lose her a second time but sets a course for uncharted passion that will lead Tristan back to the only home he has ever known...Anne.

Can anyone say road trip on the high seas?LORD OF TEMPTATION in a word...Gorgeous. The premise of a tortured hero who is running from his past only to come face to face with his future was priceless. Heath has a talent for penning a deliciously rich romp giving reader’s characters they can sink their teeth in. Lord Tristan Easton is just that type of character. My heat did a little flutter while readingLORD OF TEMPTAIONS because this hero has over the years built up a mammoth wall to barricade his heart. Th fact that Anne tempts him more than any other woman. She is beautiful, yes, but Tristan see a kindred spirit. This couple fiery emotions draws a readers attention keeping them in the high of this high sea love story. Readers, like me, might find their eyes misting from time to time. There were moments I found myself, much like Anne Hayworth, breathless in excited anticipation of unraveling Tristan’s heart. Those moments were magical.

There are quite a few laugh out loud moments as a reader engages with Lord Tristan’s hardy crew of the Revenge. The Duke and Duchess of Keswick(SHE TEMPTS A DUKE) and Lord Rafe are a pivotal role in sailing this love story through some choppy water.

Heath always gives her readers a delightful page turner with a wicked treat hidden inside.LORD OF TEMPTATION captures the heart and imagination with a heartfelt delectable love story.
