Beverly Jenkins

Beverly Jenkins has received numerous awards, including five Waldenbooks Best Seller Awards, two Career Achievement Awards from Romantic Times magazine, and a Gold Pen Award from the Black Writers Alliance. In 1999, Ms. Jenkins was voted one of the Favorite 50 African-American Authors of the 20th Century by AALBC.com, the nation's largest online African-American book club. She was born in 1951 on the day after Valentine's Day, which is perfect for a romance writer.

    I just finished reading Midnight. “Fantastic”. I’ve read so many of your novels and not only am I loving the characters of your period writing, I learn something each time I open your books. You are truly gifted and I hope you continue to create, because I enjoy the adventure.

    I just wanted to say I’ve read most all your books and I find them to very informative in regards to Black and Native American history and what it was like to have live during a time when survival and tragedy utmost.
