Beyond the Romance
Okay, super cheesy but when I first read "Beyond the Night" by Joss Ware, I was hooked. A mysterious 50 year sleep, the world controlled by immortals, strange paranormal gifts appearing, and the whole scene set in what was used to be Las Vegas. New Vegas. NV. Envy. I was a little suspicious picking it up but once I read it? Wow. New favorite author here! Jade is a kick ass hero with the ability to take care of herself and others. Elliot is a doctor and his gift that emerged from his 50 year sleep was strangely apt.. Their romance together was very star crossed. Joss Ware was able to successfully pull it off, have you rooting for the characters, and left you wanting more. The reason why I'm writing about this now?
