Title: A Kiss at Midnight Author: Eloisa James Published: July 27, 2010 This one’s going to be really short because I read it a long time ago, and I don’t remember much of this book. CLEARLY it’s a remix about Cinderella, except that now the ‘Cinderella,’ Kate, doesn’t like ‘Prince Charming,’ Gabriel, which is okay, because he is already engaged to another. That’s cool, until they fall for each other and their love suddenly becomes forbidden. 1. The chemistry between the two is really hot, if I recall, and every chance they have together, they spend it REALLY well. 2. But wait — isn’t the first chapter about Gabriel trying to be an archeologist? … so where is it mentioned AT ALL while he is trying to get Kate and vice versa? IT’S NOT MENTIONED. Oh, until the epilogue. Then there, a whole bunch of archeology things come up. Weird....
