Kristin Miller’s debut Avon Impulse novel, InterVamption, is set in the wild and wonderful world of Crimson Bay, where vampires and shapeshifters (also known as therians) have battled for centuries. Though the vampires of Crimson Bay are rather secretive, Kristin managed to get a copy of their latest newsletter. Enjoy it below–and be sure to download your very own copy of InterVamption today.

San Francisco Haven Newsletter—Note from the Primus
Our newly remodeled Black Rose Theatre will showcase Crimson Bay’s hottest metal band, The Reds, Friday and Saturday night. They’ll be selling their chart topping albums, Back to Blood and Vein Collapse, at puncture prices. Blood spitting, smoking guitars and flaming pyrotechnics combined with heart pumping music will create a musical show you’d rather stake yourself than miss. Their last concert sold out before the full moon. Reserve your spot now.

Alexa Draco will spotlight tomorrow evening’s workshop in ReVamp’s east wing. She’ll be highlighting key points from her New York Underground’s Bestselling novel, What’s at Stake: A Vampire’s Guidebook. Whether you’re newly transitioned, struggling to control your urges through bloodlust therapy, or have reached elder status, there’ll be valuable information to drink in.

Biting into a critical dark vein, the streets of San Francisco are no longer safe for vampires. Therians, shape-shifting bastards who rejoice in our failures, lurk in the shadows, waiting for bloodlust to strike. We’ve already lost more khissmates to the twitchy hand of a therian, acting in light of the “law”, than we can bear. Give no reason for therians to believe we’re animals—conduct yourselves accordingly.

Although Alvambra’s blood bottling supply is tainted, Dylan is slaving away behind ReVamp’s doors to find the problem and an acceptable cure. Blood bank closures are going to become common as this nightmare spirals from bad to worse. Be prepared. Seek shelter in vampire rehabilitation centers such as ReVamp, or report to your local haven. Lastly, have faith that the moon will crest and our problems will vanish like the dust of our elders.

We can solve these problems by working together. Keep your fangs in check, your bloodlust at bay, and your eyes on the backs of your khissmates.

Until the next full moon…
