Deirdre, color me delighted with your response to Whisper Falls! I’ve never been so pleased to be called evil : ) So glad you enjoyed Tessa and Lucky! And having grown up in a small town myself, I like to portray both the good and the bad aspects of it, so I appreciate you noticing that. Yes, rest assured that Amy will eventually get her story – though that comes with an additional promise: that there will some surprises and very big bumps along the road to her happy ending …

Toni Blake, you are an evil, evil woman. Here I am, four days before Christmas: My tree is unbought, the kids’ presents unwrapped, my work assignments unfinished, my house untidy verging on actively unclean. And what have I done all morning since dropping my child off at the bus stop at 6:20 AM? Inhale Whisper Falls. Your novel is a true “enemy of productivity” – my highest prize. I loved Sugar Creek but this Romo brother tale is even better and more moving. I completely bought into the on-the-surface unlikely pairing of fragile good girl Tessa and possibly truly bad boy biker Lucky. Plus I find the small town Ohio setting fascinating. I like that you don’t sugarcoat the downside of living in a tiny community where everyone knows your past. A problem if you are trying to change. Promise me one thing, though. At some point, love will also be Amy’s destiny, correct?
