Summer Beach Reading Wanes – But Never Fear!

The long, lazy days of summer are slipping away (though I don’t know about you, but my summer days are anything BUT lazy).  The surest sign is when the sun starts to set earlier and earlier.  Sigh.  The second sign is when that pile of summer reading whittles down.  However, there is no need for melancholy or alarm.  There are tons of great new books just out – and lined up for the fall!

One of my favorites, which is just on sale, is YOU ONLY LOVE ONCE by Caroline Linden.  There are spy stories that are full of intrigue and danger, and then there are spy stories that will heat up the cool September nights.  YOU ONLY LOVE ONCE is a gem among the latter.

The third in Linden’s Mission Impossible meets Regency England trilogy, this book completely wowed me.  The heroine, Angelique Martand, is absolutely amazing!!  She’s bold and strong-willed, proud and passionate, yet her life has not been easy, which gives her tremendous depth.  One of England’s most accomplished spies, Angelique is ready to get out of the game.  She’s in for one more mission – paired up with the wildly charismatic, deeply honorable, and incredibly sexy American, Nate Avery, who can nearly disarm Angelique with a smoldering look.  She needs to get out quickly – before this last assignment is her undoing – in so many ways.  I promise you will not be able to put this book down!
