A Dangerous Beauty
June 06, 2007
There’s a wonderful Avon Romance out now by Sophia Nash called A DANGEROUS BEAUTY, and it has one of the most stunning covers ever!
Did you know that the fan was used for much, much more than cooling off?
Well, duh!!
Here’s one fun website I found that talks about The Language of the Fan
This will serve as a start, but there’s much more–check it out!
The lady shows up briefly at the balcony, slowly fanning herself, and returns inside, shutting the balcony:
“I can’t go out”
If she appears briefly at the balcony, excitedly fanning herself, and quickly goes inside, leaving the balcony open: “I’ll go out soon”
Resting the fan on her lips: “I don’t trust you”
