WELCOME to the Avon Romance Blog
February 27, 2006
Welcome to our wonderful new Avon Romance Blog! Here are some important things to know:
First, look for a new post every day! Sometimes even twice a day. There will be info in upcoming releases, deep thoughts from the Avon romance editors–about anything & everything under the sun…and guest bloggers (AVON AUTHORS, even some of the other people who help create Avon Romance!)
And, coming soon you’ll be finding special features… information you’ll only discover by reading the Avon Romance Blog! But you’ll have to keep checking the Avon Romance Blog to find out when…and where…you’ll be seeing them.
There are links to your favorite authors’ websites, INFORMATION on their tours and appearances, and even a way to sign up for our exclusive FROM THE HEART newsletter by email. Specify if you prefer HTML or text.
But I’ve said enough for one day.

Just want to let Avon Romance be aware that I found a type-o while reading Hailey North, Pillow Talk. On page 103, the last sentence of the page, “It was the least I could to to pro-……
Should be, “It was the lease I could do to pro-……..

LOL! Denise, you just proved how easy it is to make an error. When posting your correction, you made a typo yourself. “It was the lease I could do to pro-” is what you wrote. Easy to do, but it does lead me to ask – why if we, the readers, can catch ‘em how come the proofreaders can’t?? I see them all the time – in newspapers, magazine articles, even on the news scroll at the bottom of the screen on cable news programs. As a former English teacher, it drives me crazy … I know I could do a better job, by far. Happy Reading and Writing Everyone. : )
